Superintendent Message
It is such an honor and privilege to be selected as the superintendent Poplar School District. I was born and raised in Poplar and a proud enrolled member of the Fort Peck Tribes. I am married to Sunee and have two children: Kessee and Keilen.
My education is as follows: I graduated from Poplar High School in 1994. I earned my teaching degree from MSU-Billings and my master’s and doctorate from Montana State in educational leadership. I have been employed at Poplar Schools for 26 years (18 as an administrator).
My goals for the district for this year are surrounded and grounded in the following:

Improving student achievement.

Creating and fostering a safe, orderly, and respectful environment.

To have more collaboration through our building leadership teams and district leadership team.

Improve our communication with parents and community.

Any and all discussions on resources need to be students first.
We have a great school that I look forward to celebrating the great things and tackling the tough issues.
